Endless Forest. The name stood out in her mind, and she smiled slightly as she looked around her. Guess the title did have some truth in it. In every direction, for as long as she could see, nothing else caught her eye except for endless leafy branches and the occasional chatter of woodland creatures as they went about their work.
The ground felt rough under her paws, roots of thousands of trees bumping the surface only to show themselves in a furrow of dusty brown. The air was fresh and tasted to her like the freshest mint, the ripest strawberries...the best thing you could or have ever tasted. At that moment, as she stood, the world humming under her paws, it was as if the forest was part of her, a whole, living, breathing being.
It was perfect.
Her eyes glinted, and her tail weaved patterns in the air as she brushed her skin up against the bark of an old oak tree. Then something moved behind her, in the undergrowth, wheter it was the sound of hooves, paws or something else she couldn't tell. Bramble whirled round, eyes wide and teeth glinting, tail fur standing on end, suprise and suspicios fear prickling up her spine.
'Who's there?'
