Random Events can take place anywhere. Throughout the whole site, a particualar board or thread are common for this site.
Staff can create random events in your threads. Perhaps your character levels up in power or you find 100 Tokens. It can be as small as that, or even as large as your character catching a rare illness or bigger than that.
Sometimes, one particular IC board will have a random event happen inside it. Maybe a locked door will become unlocked or something plot-related will happen to it.
Site wide random events can be anything. From the arrival of two former Shadow Union members for two members to rp or a plague sweeps across the land and the people who created ten most recent posts (OOC as well as IC) will have their characters contract the disease.
